So, ER and I went to the “Firehouse Brawl 24″ at the Una Fire Department last night. It had been a couple of months since I attended an APW show, so it was good to see the folks. We weren’t able to see the entire show as it was getting late and I had to work today (and eat supper before leaving Sparkle City). I was surprised to see The Grappler in a match, he looks like he has put on some weight since the last time I saw him in Hendersonville. He teamed with Blackheart against Jake Jeckel and Matt Burns. Everyone had on black – black pants, black shirts, black everything. Avon apparently makes calls at APW also, as the mascara was abundant.
I only saw King McHone come out three times. What’s going on James? He was also sporting a nice shiner. I informed him that there was new King on the scene – I have acquiesced Chester and Whitney Rd to him though.
I don’t know what was going on with the sound system last night, but geez, it was driving me crazy. “Konnan ‘06/MC B” Dustin Bragg was manning the controls so I’m not sure what was going on. By the way MC B, blue flannel and camo don’t match.
Tonight – big show in Hendo! Kirby Mack versus Chris Sabin. Ostgard & Derek Ryze versus Ken Magnum and a mystery partner!
