I have woke up from my afternoon nap. James Bond is on Spike. ER says the new Bond film is a must see. I had a dream that I was watching a plane go down from inside. I think this was a subconcious reminder to be thankful. So here are some things that I am thankful for this year.
-Of course first of all, my friends. To the new ones which include the Goonies (previously known as the Lenoir Boys), the Anarchy roster and crew, some of the fans that shell out their dough for the shows, Gizmo etc etc. Also to the old ones such as Chris, a friend since my freshmen year who withstood a bombshell dropped on him this year. ER-my road trip partner and one half of TBDAMOAWPNAAAAP (The Best Damn Auxiliary Members of a Wrestling Promotion Namely an Announcer and a Photographer). Yes, that is stolen. ER – You know I love you, now shut uppa ya face. Thomas Simpson – thank you for the opportunities and good times, and you should really start letting yourself relax on the roadtrips. Ken Magnum - we are still in it, you know I’ll support you regardless of your choices. Ostgard – I’m hoping you’ll lay off the energy drinks, and you left a sock at the house (I still win!). The Macks – drive me crazy. Neil, Brice, Lyle, Sabrina, DJ Ray, Devin, Boomer, the Chief, Rhonda, Brodie, Lace, Dick Bourne, Mike Cline, George South, Jimbo & the Foxes, the Highspots guys. I shouldn’t have started this, now I’m going to wind up forgetting someone. If I left you off, it was nothing intentional, I’m grateful for all my friends. Oh, and especially Mr Bojangles, you’re a great kisser.
- I’m thankful for my job. I am extremely lucky to have a job that allows me so much time to be online, watch TV, and read. Plus, I make fairly good money. I’m in a very good position and have good bosses – whenever I want a day off, there is no problem. Helpful for my hobby.
- My family. They’re insane, but whose family isn’t?
- My relatively good health. Of course, this may catch up with me in a few more years, but right now I am ok.
- I’m thankful still for the chance to have fun doing something I love just about every weekend.
- I’m thankful that I’m not in Iraq right now.
Ok, so back to work tomorrow – it’s still considered a holiday, so there will be no one around. Casual dress all weekend! Saturday is the big AWA/TNA confrontation in Hendersonville. Monday I will be starting my Christmas shopping!
I hope you all had a great holiday.
Coming soon – my year in review!
